Sutra Productions is led by Sutra Winter, a nationally recognized aerialist and choreographer based in Encinitas, California, with thirteen years of aerial experience and ten years of professional teaching across the U.S. and abroad.

Booking Questions, Answered

What areas do you serve?

We're based in San Diego and perform across Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs) and travel for destination events.

What types of events do you perform at?

Weddings, corporate galas, brand activations, festivals, private parties and holiday events. Every performance is tailored to your venue and vision.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak-season weekends we suggest 2–6 months. Have a closer date? Send it anyway. We confirm availability within 24 hours and can often accommodate short notice.

Do you handle rigging and insurance?

Yes. Every booking begins with a complimentary rigging consultation: we review your venue's ceiling height, load-bearing points and layout to confirm the safest, most visually striking setup, and design a free-standing alternative if overhead rigging isn't possible. All aerial work is professionally rigged, our performers carry full liability insurance, and we coordinate directly with your venue on every requirement.

Can you create a custom act for our theme?

That's our favorite request. Costuming, music, choreography and staging can all be designed around your brand, color palette or story. Tell us the vision in your inquiry.

Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for our venue?

Yes. Many venues and corporate properties require a COI before approving an outside performer, and we're glad to provide one promptly. Just note your venue's specific requirements (additional insured status, coverage minimums, etc.) in your inquiry and we'll have it to you quickly.
